Project Description
The creation of a new re-configured Bio-sciences laboratory at the Canterbury campus.
The laboratory installation comprised of both HVAC and electrical services. New piped services included boosted cold water, domestic hot water, natural gas, compressed air, vacuum, reverse osmosis plant.
New fume extract cupboards were installed and associated new extract ventilation plant. The perimeter heating and general ventilation was modified to suite the new layout. A new control system was installed to control the specialist ventilation plant. The electrical installation included, new power distribution systems, lighting and emergency lighting provision.
Modifications to existing fire detection and alarm systems.
All services were commissioned, balanced, tested and certificated.
